Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Ink Stroke Tattoos. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website and the booking and provision of our tattoo services. By making an appointment or using our services, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

1. Bookings

Appointments are confirmed only after acceptance by the studio. Submitting a request does not constitute a confirmed appointment. All bookings are subject to availability and the studio's discretion.

2. Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure an appointment and is typically deducted from the total cost on the day. Deposits are non-refundable unless we cancel the appointment.

3. Cancellation, Rescheduling & No-Shows

Appointments may be cancelled or rescheduled free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. Cancellations or reschedule requests made less than 24 hours in advance may result in forfeiture of the deposit. Failure to attend a confirmed appointment without prior notice (a "no-show") may be charged in accordance with these Terms, and any deposit paid will be retained in full. A new deposit may be required to book a future appointment.

4. Late Arrival

Late arrival may shorten the session or require rescheduling. Normal cancellation and deposit policies may apply.

5. Health Declaration

For your safety, you must inform the studio before the session of any condition that may affect the procedure or healing, including but not limited to:

• Allergies (inks, latex, metals, anaesthetics, plasters, etc.).
• Current medication, in particular blood thinners or immunosuppressants.
• Skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, keloid scarring, recent sunburn, moles or lesions in the area).
• Chronic illnesses such as diabetes, haemophilia, epilepsy, cardiovascular or autoimmune disease.
• Infectious diseases (including hepatitis or HIV).
• Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
• Any other condition you reasonably believe may be relevant.

The studio reserves the right to refuse or interrupt any service for safety reasons, including if information is withheld, if the client is unwell, or if the client is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

6. Right to Refuse Service

Ink Stroke Tattoos reserves the right to refuse, postpone or discontinue any appointment where it is reasonably necessary to protect the health, safety or wellbeing of clients or staff, or where the client behaves in an abusive, threatening, inappropriate or unsafe manner. The studio may also refuse service where relevant medical information has been withheld or where proceeding with the tattoo would present an unreasonable health or safety risk.

7. Minimum Age & Identification

Clients must be at least 18 years old. A valid government-issued photo ID (DNI, NIE or passport) is required on the day of the appointment and may be checked before the session begins; without valid ID the appointment will not proceed and the deposit may be retained. In accordance with applicable Spanish and regional regulations, minors under 18 are not tattooed at this studio, even with parental consent.

8. Aftercare

Clients agree to follow all aftercare instructions. The studio is not liable for complications resulting from failure to follow aftercare or factors outside our control.

9. Payments

Full payment is due on the day of service unless otherwise agreed. Prices quoted are estimates and may vary based on complexity, size, and time.

10. Liability

Due to differences in skin type, healing process, immune response, aftercare compliance and other individual biological factors, Ink Stroke Tattoos cannot guarantee the final healed appearance, colour retention or longevity of any tattoo. Variations in healing and results are normal and do not necessarily indicate any fault in the service provided.

Tattoo results may vary due to skin type, healing process and compliance with aftercare instructions. Our liability is limited to the value of services provided. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited under applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

All artwork, website content, logos and designs remain the intellectual property of Ink Stroke Tattoos unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. Photography & Image Consent

We may take photographs or short videos of completed tattoos for portfolio, social media and promotional purposes. Where a person is identifiable in such images, we will only publish them with the client's prior, documented consent (written or via a signed/electronic consent form), in accordance with the GDPR and the Spanish Data Protection Act (LOPDGDD).

Consent is voluntary. Refusing consent for photography or publication will not affect the customer's ability to receive tattoo services and will not influence pricing, availability or quality of service. Consent may be limited to specific channels (for example, website only or social media only), and may be withdrawn at any time by contacting inkstroketattoos@gmail.com. Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing that occurred lawfully before the withdrawal request. Close-up images of the tattoo itself, where no person is identifiable, may be used without separate consent.

13. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes shall be subject to the competent courts of Spain, except where mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.
